Volunteer, Trainee & Minor Participants

The University supports activities and programs involving volunteers, trainees and minors. These activities benefit the participants and the University.  It is recognized that these programs may pose additional responsibilities and increased exposure of risk to participants, as well as to the University.

CU Authorized Volunteer Agreement and Waiver Templates

If your volunteer activity is an incidental volunteer activity such as use of volunteers at an event and not an on-going program, you can use the AUTHORIZED VOLUNTEER AGREEMENT, NOTICE OF RISK AND WAIVER OF RESPONSIBILITY template.

For all on-going volunteer programs within the scope of these guidelines use the UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO AUTHORIZED VOLUNTEER AGREEMENT AND WAIVER template prior to commencement.
