CU Boulder, Colorado no exception in report highlighting higher ed's reliance on tuition revenue

Colleges nationwide, including the University of Colorado Boulder, are increasingly relying on tuition revenue to fund their budgets as state funding crawls back to its pre-recession rate.

According to Todd Saliman, vice president and chief financial officer at the University of Colorado system. "CU receives 50% less per resident student today than we did in 2000," he said. "It will take a long time to get back to where we were."
