A reminder that the annual Finance System update is coming this weekend. If you've personalized line displays in FIN, you'll want to read this!

The annual finance system update -- also known as the PUM, or PeopleSoft Update Manager, update -- will occur this Sunday, March 29, 2026. To prepare:

You may need to re-set grid personalizations.

IF you personalized your field order displays for grids on FIN pages (e.g., journal lines, voucher, and award), you will need to re-set them.

• With the update, grids will revert to the default display for that page.
• Therefore: If you want to restore those grids to the field order you prefer, we recommend that you take a screenshot of your personalized grids before this weekend so you can use the screenshots to help you reestablish the desired field order after the update.

Note: We had previously announced that FIN search pages would look different. This display change will not happen. We've learned that the originally expected changes to Search fields (from a one-column to two-column layout) do not have to be implemented. Accordingly, based on user feedback, we are retaining the current visual display (single-column field layout) as is.
