Frontier Airlines in the New Concur Travel Experience [1]
As you use the new Concur Travel Experience, you may notice that Frontier Airlines flights are no longer available for instant booking.
Frontier is generally not recommended for university business travel because its restrictive fare rules and numerous ancillary fees can significantly increase the total cost of a trip. While the base airfare may appear less expensive, charges for carry-on and checked baggage, seat selection, itinerary changes, and other optional services often eliminate any initial savings.
If a Frontier flight is determined to be the most appropriate option for your business travel, you must contact a Christopherson Business Travel (CBT) agent [3] to make the reservation.
Because Frontier flights remain available through the CU managed travel program when booked through a CBT agent, purchasing a Frontier ticket directly from the airline or through another travel website does not, by itself, qualify for an exception under the Internet Airfare Policy [4]. Any request to purchase airfare outside the University's travel program must meet an allowable exception outlined in the Internet Airfare Policy [4].
