Fall Business Travel Perks: Status & Points Promotions [1]
Business travel this fall could come with a few extra perks! Southwest and American Airlines are currently offering promotions that can help eligible travelers earn status and, in Southwest's case, bonus Rapid Rewards® points.
Southwest: Earn A-List Status + 20,000 Bonus Points
Southwest is offering an opportunity to earn promotional A-List status and up to 20,000 Rapid Rewards® bonus points.
Register [3] and complete qualifying business travel by October 31:
- Fly 2 qualifying round trips (4 one-way flights) to earn promotional A-List status through December 31, 2026.
- Fly 4 qualifying round trips (8 one-way flights) to earn A-List status plus 20,000 Rapid Rewards bonus points.
Already have A-List status? You can still earn the 20,000 bonus points by completing four qualifying round trips.
Registration [3] is required, and flights must be booked through an Concur or Christopherson Business Travel (CBT) and meet Southwest's promotional requirements.
American: Jump-Start Your AAdvantage® Status
Looking to jump-start your American Airlines status? Eligible travelers can register [4] for the AAdvantage Gold® Instant Status Pass™ promotion to receive status for four months once approved.
From there, travelers can maintain or increase their status based on the Loyalty Points they earn, with the opportunity to reach AAdvantage Executive Platinum® status through March 31, 2028. The more Loyalty Points earned, the higher the status tier that may be achieved.
