Purchase Orders (POs) can be located a few ways within CU Marketplace. The method to use depends on the amount of information you have to conduct your search…and the type of documents you want to view.

Note for Shoppers: You can only see POs, and the accompanying documents, that resulted from a shopping cart you created.

Read the procedures

Method 1 - If you want to view a list of your Purchase Orders:

  1. On the Home page, locate the Document Search area and click the My Purchase Orders link.
  2. A list of your POs over the past 90 days appears.
  3. By default, the filter is set to the last 90 days. Click the Created Date dropdown to select a different range.
  4. To further refine your search results, click the Add Filter dropdown. This list includes filters like Supplier, Amount, SpeedType, and Department. When you select a filter, it’s added to your search. Enter your value. Then click Apply
  5. Click on the PO Number link to open the document.
  6. The document opens to a summary of the PO.
  7. Click the Comments tab to see any comments related to the PO.

Method 2 - If you want to find a specific requisition and have the PO #:

  1. Locate the Quick Search, located in the ribbon at the top of the screen.
  2. Use the dropdown to select Purchase Orders.
  3. Click in the Search field.
  4. Enter your PO #, and click Search (magnifying glass). Your requisition will appear.
  5. The document opens to a summary of the PO.
  6. Click the Comments tab to see any comments related to the PO.

Method 3 - If you want to find requisitions using more than the PO #:

Using Advanced Document Search, you can find POs by more criteria than the PO #. For example, you can search by Requestor (Prepared By), Supplier, Department, or SpeedType. Refine your search results by adding multiple filters.

  1. On the CU Marketplace home page, use the navigation menu on the left to select Orders > Search > Purchase Orders.
  2. The document search page updates to show all the documents for the University. Now, you’ll need to apply filters to narrow the results.
  3. Click the Add Filter dropdown to further refine your search results. This list includes filters like Supplier, Amount, SpeedType, and Department. When you select a filter, it’s added to your search. Enter your value. Then click Apply.
  4. Click on the PO Number link to open the document.
  5. The document opens to a summary of the PO.
  6. Click the Comments tab to see any comments related to the PO.
  7. To view the related Requisition, locate the Requisition Number link in the General Information section and click view.
  8. For more information on using Advanced Search, including how to save a search or export search results, see CU Marketplace How-to: Using Advanced Document Search.
