Retention Rates of First-Time Freshman [1]

Back to Budget and Finance Office [2] or CU Data Made Simple [3]

The first-year retention rate measures the percentage of first-year, first-time students who persisted in their educational program a year later. The cohort includes only first-time freshman enrolled full-time (12 or more credit hours). Successful retention is defined as being enrolled at the same institution in the fall term of the following year.
