Course Audience Description
CU: Animal Facility Access Required for all CU Boulder Infrastructure and Sustainability employees. This 30-minute course covers procedures and risk awareness training for facilities operations personnel.

CU: Facilities Management - Battery Charging and Changing Safety Awareness Recommended for all Facilities Management employees who charge and change large batteries that are capable of producing explosive hazards. This 20-minute course will provide awareness of the hazards presented by charging and changing batteries and mitigation of occupational risks.

CU: Facilities Management - Heavy Metals Safety Awareness Recommended for all Facilities Management employees whose tasks involve metal work, machining, welding, and industrial housekeeping. This 20-minute course will provide awareness of the hazards presented by heavy metals, their health effects, and mitigation of occupational risks.

CU: Facilities Management Lockout/Tagout Safety Program (CU Boulder) Required for any employee who operates or maintains equipment that requires lockout/tagout procedures to ensure the proper shutdown and isolation of energy sources prior to operation or maintenance. This 30-minute course provides information specific to CU Boulder Facilities Management and its implementation of the OSHA Control of Hazardous Energy standard (Lockout/Tagout) contained in 29 CFR 1910.147. This standard outlines measures for controlling different types of hazardous energy.
