Tax Prep Software and Filing Resources [1]

The International Tax Office provides resources to assist you in meeting your U.S. tax obligations.

Nonresident students have a filing requirement even if they didn't have a job. The International Tax Office is unable to help you prepare your tax returns or provide personal tax advice, but we do have resources that can help you understand your tax obligations and prepare your tax returns for filing.

To assist with U.S. tax forms, nonresident alien students and employees who are sponsored by CU have the option to use Sprintax Returns software.

All eligible international students and scholars will receive an access code to Sprintax Returns through their CU-affiliated email. If you have not received an access code by March 7, 2026, email intltax@cu.edu [2].

What's the difference between Sprintax Calculus and Sprintax Returns?

Each serve a different purpose within tax compliance. Learn more about the differences between each tax software [3].
