Employee Services maintains the Job Code Table , which lists employment classifications approved for use at the university.
The Colorado Department of Personnel establishes the employment classifications for classified staff. Within those employment classifications, the University of Colorado determines whether these job classifications are exempt or non-exempt for overtime purposes. Job codes in this category use an alpha/numeric format. All other job codes use only a numeric format.
All employment classifications other than classified staff are defined and maintained by the university. When changes are requested, Employee Services will coordinate with impacted campus offices and system administration to verify and process the requested update.
