September 1, 2026 by Sarju Khadka [2]

Are you responsible for closing projects at the end of the project’s life? If so, you may want to try our new m-Fin Project Closeout Summary report, now available in CU-Data QA.

This report is designed to make the project closeout process easier by helping you:

  • Quickly identify projects that are ready for closeout
  • Group projects into closeout issue categories
  • Easily identify why a project is not yet ready for closeout
  • Provide insight into their overall project closeout health as projects approach their end dates

The report will highlight the following columns in red to flag potential closeout issues:

  • Revenue vs. Actuals
  • Assets
  • Outstanding Encumbrances
  • Outstanding ePERS
  • Open AR
  • Unbilled Transactions (BIL) Exists
  • Over the Limit Transactions (OLT/ROL) Exists
  • Deferred Billing Transactions (DEF) Exists

Please take some time to test the new report in CU-Data QA and let us know what you think. Your feedback will help us improve the report and ensure it provides the information needed to support an efficient project close-out process.
