CIRES Director Testifies to Congress on the Climate Crisis [1]

CU Boulder professor and Director of CIRES (Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences) [3], Waleed Abdalati, testified in a hearing on April 15 held by the U.S. House of Representatives Select Committee on the Climate Crisis. The hearing, titled “Making the Case for Climate Action: The Growing Risks and Costs of Inaction [4],” was the first hearing of the committee in 2021. Rep. Joe Neguse introduced Dr. Abdalati.
