Mark Kennedy is CU’s next president. Now what?

The board approved Kennedy to be the next president on a 5-4 party-line vote at a special meeting Thursday, after all seven people who spoke during public comment spoke against his hiring. A CU system report that analyzed online feedback submitted on the nomination also found that, by Monday morning, 71% of respondents ranked Kennedy as potentially having “difficulty in most areas” of his role as president.
