Enrolling in classes this spring? Here's how to save time and money

Tuition Waiver Benefit forms for the upcoming semester are now being accepted in your employee portal. The online form can be used for employee and dependent tuition waiver requests on all campuses. Because this form is in the portal, employees must submit the form on their dependents’ behalf.

You must submit the tuition waiver benefit form within your employee portal by Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018. Late forms will not be accepted, so do not delay.

In an effort to provide accessible educational opportunities, CU’s tuition benefit provides qualified employees and dependents with tuition waiver assistance for up to 9 credit hours per academic year. Dependents of CU Boulder employees receive a 30 percent tuition discount.

Dependents have two options for their tuition discount: Option A – Home Campus or Option B – Other Campus. If a dependent is attending Option B – Other Campus, they are eligible to receive $270/credit hour for up to 9 credit hours per academic year. An employee must waive their benefit for the academic year if they want to give it to a verified dependent to use. 

NOTE: Tuition Waiver Benefit only applies to the cost of credit hours. Employees and dependents are responsible for all non-waived tuition, additional campus fees and taxes.
