Ashok Talachutla joins UIS as a PeopleSoft Developer, providing essential consultation to UIS and CU leadership regarding the PeopleSoft Financial modules. In this role, Ashok is responsible for reviewing and evaluating maintenance and enhancement requests, analyzing complex processes to define system enhancements and modifications, and providing technical application support to system end users. Additionally, he provides application development in PeopleSoft Financials modules by coding, testing, implementing batch and online computer software, and providing technical support to CU staff.

Tilak Brahmbhatt is the newest member of the ECS-Infrastructure team. As a Systems Engineer, Tilak will lead technical projects with assigned staff, conduct technical architecture analysis and produce technical strategy recommendations, inform and advise project managers and stakeholders about project plans and implementation, design/build/maintain technology infrastructure, supports system rollouts, monitoring system performance, respond to and troubleshoot escalated operational issues, and manage customer and user relationships.

Matthew Anderson joins UIS as the new Assistant Director of Web, Portal, and Business Applications. In this role, Matt serves as a production owner and development manager for the University’s system-wide web, portal, and mobile applications. He will serve as the leader of a co-development group of developers from across CU who are jointly engaged in the creation of a usable, performant, and feature-rich web, portal, and mobile environment. The Assistant Director manages a diverse group of stakeholder priorities, sets development and quality assurance standards, promotes knowledge transfer among the co-development group, and enables local development talent to assist in meeting local needs within an enterprise focused framework.

Mez Zedawit joins UIS as a Integrations Developer. Mez will provide technical support and software development in the area of integrations for the University’s enterprise systems. This position has an emphasis on the integration of multiple Salesforce organizations, leveraging the MuleSoft integration platform. As the Integrations Developer, Mez is tasked with requirements gathering, design, and development of integrations using a variety of technologies, and mainly focusing on near-real-time message-based patterns. This work will integrate Ascend with the University’s enterprise systems.

Travis Golden has been promoted to Senior Service Desk Technician. This role embraces UIS’s mission of serving CU through proactive customer engagement and innovative solutions to enrich our environment. Travis has a passion for customer service and works directly with service owners to ensure reliability and sustainability of supported applications, including those deemed mission critical. He will support applications and servers while working closely with customer partners and other operational groups. Travis will participate in and lead high visibility projects with the goal of improving operational effectiveness and creating design solutions for new business applications.

Patrick Cain joins UIS as the new Organizational Change Manager. In this role, Patrick is responsible for ensuring that IT projects and change initiatives meet objectives by increasing adoption and usage of new and improved technology tools, business processes, and organizational structures. He will focus on the people-side of change with a primary emphasis on creating and implementing change management strategies and plans. Patrick will work closely with departmental and campus leadership, faculty, governance structures, system-wide stakeholders, and organizations to understand the environment and needs associated with change plans and impending work updates. He will actively create and implement plans for formalized change management initiatives, as well as establish informal relationships with peers across CU. Patrick will focus particularly on the needs of the CU Online initiative.

Nonie Roberts joins UIS as the Web Marketing Cloud Specialist. She is responsible for providing technical expertise, leadership, and support in website updates, maintenance, and effectiveness related to marketing campaigns. Nonie will perform setup and analysis of marketing campaigns using Pardot/Marketing Cloud and other tools. She will also assist the Assistant Director with prioritization and future state of enhancements and roadmap development regarding web marketing and projects.
