In March of 2016, the UIS Service Desk asked System Administration staff to help us improve our services by completing a brief survey. The top issues identified were the service desk's response and resolution times, technical experitise and the dimishished effectiveness of the student services model. A new Windows computers security policy is going into effect Tuesday, March 22 to increase data security and protect System Administration employees from unauthorized use of their Windows computing devices. Computing devices will automatically lock after 15 minutes of inactivity. Learn more about this new policy.
