Saving Open Tabs on Chrome

  1. Click the vertical three-dots icon to the right of the address bar in your browser.
  2. Scroll down to Bookmarks and select the second option, Bookmark All Tabs.
  3. Click New Folder.
  4. Name the new folder (we recommend using the date) and click Save.

Remember: this saves all the open tabs from that browsing window. If you have multiple windows open as well, you will need to repeat steps 1-4 for each window. You can skip steps 1 and 2 by using the shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+D.

After your computer restarts, you can reopen those saved tabs by going to the same three-vertical-dots icon and finding the named folder under Bookmarks. Right click the folder and select Open All Bookmarks.

Most browsers also provide an option under History for Recently Closed. Use that option if your device shuts down before you had a chance to save the tabs.
