In June, Cvent hosted its annual conference for event and hospitality professionals. The conference was attended by 3,400+ people and included 170 sessions along with a product roadmap.
For the inaugural Tools of the Trade post, we'll take a closer look at utilizing content, specifically recycling content. There are a myriad of reasons why recycling content may be a good option for you and your team in your marketing initiatives. June was a busy month for Marketing Cloud! At the beginning of the month, Marketing Cloud released their State of Marketing report. This was then followed by a webinar highlighting the June 2017 new feature release. Both of these resources include helpful information for marketing and the technical functionality of the Marketing Cloud platform.
With summer well under way, the SET team is working hard on initiatives for the fall and winter! We have a great lineup of user group meetings from August through December. Details and invitations for each meeting will be sent out, but be sure to mark these dates on your calendar.
The summer is off to a great start for SET! Completing our first full rotation through the eComm applications, the focus of the June user group meeting was on Marketing Cloud as we took a deep dive into send paths and tracking data. Additionally, social media strategies were highlighted on the SET News page and we welcomed two new eComm Student assistants to the eComm family. Keep an eye out for the invitation to the July ice cream social and user group meeting.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud has great online resources to help you stay on the cutting edge of email marketing. Their tailored blogs and informational booklets provide a wealth of information and insight. Shinning a spotlight on a couple of these resources, we'll take a look at a blog post and podcast that both contain useful insight on marketing best practices.
Does your office or department leverage social media for communication and engagement? If so, these Salesforce resources may contain helpful information for you and your team. "By 2017, 89% of marketers expect customer experience to be their primary differentiator," (Gamer 2016) so keeping up with best practices is important.
