UIS is releasing an update to Symantec Endpoint Client to system offices on Thursday, April 19. It will be available in the Software Center, if you want to manually install it. If you choose not to do that, it will automatically install on Friday, April 20 or the next time your device checks in after that date.

You can follow the steps below to install manually starting the morning of Thursday, April 19:

1. Go to the Software Center by searching the name
   
   
2. On the Available Software tab, check the Symantec Endpoint Protection application and click install. Note: if the application isn’t available to you, try checking back later.
   
3. After it has finished installing, whether you’ve installed it manually or have it automatically installed, you will be prompted with the following message. You can either restart now or get reminded later up until the specified date/time in the message.
