Use the job change transaction page for FTE, hours, FLSA updates

Making changes to job data? Here’s a quick tip to avoid transaction page errors.

When updating an employee’s full time equivalent (FTE), standard hours or FLSA designation, remember to enter changes through the Job Change transaction page. For a list of appropriate action/reason combinations, review the Transaction Pages and Action Reasons job aid.

Then, to update the employee’s record, check the Update Incumbent box.

It’s important to go through the Job Change transaction page, because you must make updates to position data before job data.
