New state minimum wage increase now in effect
As of Jan. 1, CU employees who are paid minimum wage will see an increase in their pay with the implementation of Colorado's new minimum wage of $8.23.
While the state increased its minimum wage by 23 cents, the federal minimum wage remains $7.25.
Employee Services will run a report the evening of Thursday, Jan. 8 to ensure all hourly paid employees affected by this change see the increase reflected in their pay.
