Make sure July 3 payday is no surprise to your department
Don’t forget: The June monthly payday falls on Monday, July 3, which means now's a great time to remind monthly paid employees that they'll be receiving their money a bit later than normal. Employee paid biweekly will not be affected.
While CU is not responsible for any overdraft charges or fees that result from this change, we urge you to remind employees about the July 3 pay date so they can accommodate it.
The shift from CU's normal monthly payroll, completed at month's end, stems from a 12-year-old state directive, which delays all monthly paid state employees' June pay to the first business day in July.
