Fix for HCM timeout issue implemented
Users have been experiencing the portal timing them out of HCM after around 30 minutes of being logged in.
A fix for this issue has been identified and is expected to prevent users from being timed out, provided activity is taking place within the system. However, if the Fluid Navigator in the CU Resources page is left open after clicking an application such as HCM, it will slide closed after a few minutes of inactivity.
If a user has two windows open and stops working in the second window for an extended period, the first window containing the CU Resources portal will timeout the session. This is in accordance with the CU Security Policy.
Prior to the implementation of this solution, using a workaround was encouraged. Those who have been using this method no longer need to do so.
