While the majority of Employee Services staff will work remotely to do our part to reduce community spread of the COVID-19 virus, our services will continue without interruption. We're dedicated to providing excellent service to every CU employee and every HCM user. You can still reach us by phone or email. Confirm leave sweep reports before June 30
Before Employee Services sweeps leave balances that exceed the university's allowed maximums this July, do your part by confirming the accuracy of the leave sweep reports we sent you on June 4.
As you review your department's leave reports, you may notify employees whose leave balances are projected to exceed CU's allowed maximums. These employees may either use the excess time or donate it to campus leave banks before June 30, 2015.
We'll be running this sweep during the July payroll by referencing leave balances as they appear on June 30, 2015—including any time accrued or taken in June. The sweep will reduce vacation balances for university and classified staff members who are eligible for leave, and for classified staff members, it will automatically convert excess sick balances into vacation hours using a 5-to-1 ratio (i.e., five sick hours become one vacation hour).
