The President’s Office for Strategic Research Initiatives evaluates and adapts the university’s approach to providing research support and opportunities for collaboration to both innovative faculty members and industry partners. The university seeks to preserve and enhance our ability to generate federal funding for research, and to substantially increase our opportunity for generating funding from alternate sources, including industry and philanthropy, as well as novel financial engineering platforms.
We will support the individual campuses in differentiating CU as the institution of choice for top-ranked faculty and staff, and the academic partner of choice for research innovation with industry partners. At the same time, we will support CU's academic mission and its commitments to economic development and public service.
