CUSP Submission Assists Financial Reconciliation Process [1]
Your position description includes bullet points about reconciling SpeedTypes and ensuring that transactions are properly recorded. But what does that mean? A new CUSP submission helps explain.
Leila McCamey (Boulder Campus Controller's Office) was recently nominated by an admiring colleague for developing a process and form to streamline monthly financial statement reconciliation. Together, the process and form create step-by-step instructions and a checklist for department personnel charged with this important task.
You can read about it, and download a sample form to use in your own department, on the CUSP website [3].
Now, your turn:
Do you have something to share, something to improve a CU financial or other business process?
The CU Shared Practices (CUSP) Program [4] wants to hear about it. You can submit to the current CUSP Program until April 30, 2015.
