Ready to use the Tuition Waiver Benefit?

To ensure enough time for processing, aim for the target dates.  

Step 1: Apply to CU Denver/CU Anschutz before the semester begins

 

Deadline: Jan. 1, 2017


Step 2: Submit the tuition waiver benefit form

 

 Deadline: Feb. 1, 2017

Step 3: Register for your courses

 

 Dependents and Employees Register: Jan. 17, 2017 to Feb. 1, 2017

  • You or your dependent may enroll in courses on the first day of the semester. 
  • Denver Campus: New or readmitted students must pay a $200 Registration Advance Payment before registering. Applying for FAFSA removes the $200 Registration Advance Payment as an enrollment requirement.
  • Please refer to the academic calendar's add/drop course deadlines.

Step 4: Apply for the College Opportunity Fund

 

 Application Deadline: Feb. 28, 2017

  • If you or your dependent is taking undergraduate courses, apply for the College Opportunity Fund (COF).
  • Please note: If COF funds are available to you or your dependent, but you do not use them, you will be responsible for the tuition amount that would have been covered by COF.

Step 5: Pay fees and non-waived tuition

 

 Deadline: Feb. 28, 2017


Step 6: Resubmit Tuition Waiver Benefit Form for new courses, if necessary

 

 Deadline: Feb. 1, 2017

  • If the courses you originally requested were full, you can resubmit the Tuition Waiver Benefit Form to Employee Services with a list of new courses.

Step 3: Register for your courses

 

 Dependents and Employees Register:

  • CU Denver registration with a staff waiver begins Aug. 22, 2016
  • AMC starts Aug. 29, 2016 (Please confirm the first day of class with your program.)
  • You/your dependent may not enroll in courses until the first day of the semester. 
  • Denver Campus: New or readmitted students must pay a $200 Registration Advance Payment before registering. Applying for FAFSA removes the $200 Registration Advance Payment as an enrollment requirement.

Step 3: Register for your courses

 

Maymester: Starting May 15, 2016

Summer Semester: Starting June 5, 2016

  • Employees may enroll in courses the first day of the semester. 
  • Dependents may enroll in courses prior to the first day of the semester.
