Progress in the fight against Alzheimer's

The University of Colorado Rocky Mountain Alzheimer’s Disease Center at the CU Anschutz Medical Campus is garnering media attention because of promising results from its research to treat Alzheimer’s.

9News recently aired a series of stories on the research being done at CU, including the clinical trials of Leukine as a drug to treat the disease.

The reports feature CU first lady Marcy Benson, members of Denver Broncos owner Pat Bowlen’s family and former CU head football coach Bill McCartney sharing their experiences with the disease as family members and a patient.
