Denver Business Journal: Anschutz Medical Campus: A tour of the City of Health (Slideshow)

It had been a few years since I'd been out there, and I was impressed by how much the campus had grown in a short time. The once-dominant Building 500 — the historic Fitzsimons hospital that was dedicated in December 1941, days before the raid on Pearl Harbor — used to loom over the sprawling site like an Egyptian pyramid. Now it's all but surrounded by gleaming new hospital and academic towers — temples to modern medicine.
