Got Time for One Line? Try the New One-Liner Financial Reports

Do you know what a one-liner is?

In the world of Cognos m-Fin reports, it’s a report with one line per SpeedType or Project. Do you have a lot of SpeedTypes to review? Do you have a set of Projects that should be considered as a group? A one-liner report may be just the ticket.

There are a number of one-liners available to help you with financial management.

And now there are two brand-new ones that recently moved to production.

  • m-Fin SPEEDTYPE ONE-LINER: This report shows the financial basis for multiple SpeedTypes (STs), displaying one line for each. It can be run for any fund, unlike the next new one-liner …
  • m-Fin PROJECT SPEEDTYPE ONE-LINER: This report, designed specifically for Project funds, offers options like filtering by Project end date and displaying Project accounts receivable type. It shows the financial basis for multiple Projects, displaying one line for each ST, including one line per ST for multi-ST Projects (Projects that use Subclass).

For a Quick Reference Guide on each, see the Cognos Reporting System Training page. Look under m-Fin Reports / Monthly Financial Report Review Reports and m-Fin Project Reports.

We hope you find them useful.
